My Holyday

Hello, my name is Gabriela Díaz, I’m student of geography at Universidad de Chile. In the summer 2014 my plans was very different at the most people, because everyone plan go out any place, but I decide stay working in Santiago, that is a city where I live.

I wanted collect money because in this year I want to leave at home of my parents.  Then I work in January and February in the new job for me, because I have always worked like a waiter, but this time I was working like a mailwoman.

This experience it was really funny because I was riding a bike all day and I knew many streets. Also this job was completely different because it was a job for men. In the fact, I was the only woman in this office. This is an area very interesting that much unknown for the society, but is very necessary for all us.

At the first it was difficult because I didn’t how worked, so I was afraid. Also, the heat feels very strong, so the sunblock was my big friend.

In conclusion my holiday was very useful for me and it was really exciting that I recommend for a young people.
