The Best Holiday I’ve ever had

 I don’t kike talk about the best holiday, because I don’t have only and favorite holiday, but now I’ll talk about when I traveled to Peru.

I went to Peru in 2012. This was a winter holiday and I decided to travel Peru alone, but to my brother and 3 friends like the idea, so they follow me and we meet in Arequipa city.

When we arrived in Peru, we didn’t know anything about Arequipa and we didn’t had plans, so this city we were surprised with its attractions.

We stayed in a youth hostel, where we knew many people from different countries. There I practiced English for talk with other travelers. 

Near of Arequipa there is a canyon called Colca. This place is a deep plateau to 3500 meters. There you can see several Condors in their natural environmental. Then, we arrived in an altiplanic village, where we did a trekking inside the canyon down to the river, where we spent the night.

Later, we traveled to Cuzco. In this city we found Peruvian National Holidays, so we went to a place where the people made a festival with many traditional food and drink.

Later we went to know Machu Pichu. This was other adventure more, because we knew many villages through the way. Even, we had to walk across the railroad until arrive to Village called Aguas Calientes. In that trekking we saw many fireflies. When that happened, all of us yelled and laughed at the same instant very captivated for the wonder that we was seeing in this moment.

Finally, we traveled to Puno. This city is in the Altiplane, on the side Titi – Caca Lake. There, we sailed for this lake and we knew the lifestyle of the indigenous people. Then we came to Arica, for finally return to Santiago.
